Miracle Plane Pull for McMaster Children's Hospital

16 employees from our Commodities office in Hamilton, Ontario, along with their family members, participated in the 2nd annual Miracle Plane Pull for McMaster Children's Hospital (Mac Kids) earlier this year.

McMaster Children's Hospital is one of Canada's leading pediatric health care facilities and is the regional referral centre for children who are seriously ill, injured or require specialized services in South-Central Ontario.

Each team participating in the event was given two opportunities to pull a Boeing 727 airplane 25 feet at the Hamilton International Airport. Congratulations are in order for our Hamilton team, who did an amazing job! With their first attempt, our team pulled the plane 25 feet in an impressive 12.47 seconds. Go team Intertek!

By participating in this event, our Hamilton employees contributed to raising more than $21,000 for McMaster Children's Hospital's "Greatest Needs" fund, which helps the hospital satisfy its most urgent needs related to lifesaving equipment, revitalization of their physical infrastructure, research, and programs.
