Bailey Mourant, Manager, Project Operations, Food & Nutrition Group

As Manager of Project Operations, Bailey bridges per her project management expertise with her technical science experience to oversee the innumerable active projects within the Food & Nutrition Group at Intertek. Bailey tracks key project metrics in order to understand team-wide trends, to serve as a source of information for scientists, and to advocate for healthy team member utilization rates. 

She also contributes general strategic advising as needed toward administrative frameworks within the company. Throughout her professional career, Bailey has been heavily involved volunteering with the chemistry community at the local, national, and international levels. As Vice Chair and Governance Chair of the International Younger Chemists Network, Bailey was a lead figure in founding IYCN’s inaugural General Assembly. She has served on a handful of IUPAC project task groups, including the Global Women’s Breakfast (GWB) organizing team and subsequently initiated the first GWB in Orlando, Florida, USA.

Bailey also has a long history of involvement within the American Chemical Society, initially through her service as President and Vice President of her ACS Student Chapter at UCF, next as Secretary of her ACS Orlando Local Section, and as an Associate Member of the National ACS Younger Chemists Committee.
