Kerry Finch, M.Sc., B.Sc. (HONS), Senior Manager II, Toxicology & Regulatory Affairs, Food & Nutrition

Ms. Finch is a Senior Manager within the Food & Nutrition Group and has been a part of the team since 2005. Ms. Finch is responsible for the development of strategies and work plans for the preparation of technical and regulatory dossiers for submission to international regulatory agencies, including Novel Food applications, Food Additive submissions, GRAS dossiers, Novelty determinations, and New Dietary Ingredient Notifications (EFSA, U.S. FDA, Health Canada, FSANZ). 

She critically reviews, evaluates, and interprets scientific literature on toxicology and has conducted safety assessments of numerous food ingredients and dietary/food supplements. She has played a key role in numerous successful notifications or applications evaluated by regulatory authorities in the United States, European Union, and Canada.

Ms. Finch received her B.Sc. with Honours from the University of Western Ontario and a M.Sc. in Applied Toxicology with Distinction from the University of Surrey in Guildford, UK. Ms. Finch has published papers in peer-reviewed journals on topics relating to toxicology and has presented at the Society of Toxicology Annual Meeting, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and Health Canada
