Samer Hamamji, M.Sc., Associate II, Health Claims, Food & Nutrition
Samer Hamamji is an Associate II within the Food & Nutrition Group of Intertek Health Sciences Inc., working within the Health Claims team. He is involved in different scientific and regulatory health claims projects for national and international food and dietary supplements companies. He works with the health claims team in conducting literature searches, summarizing and tabulating information from scientific publications, and preparing scientific reports for projects related to health and structure/function claims substantiation and authorization.
Samer is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Nutritional Sciences at University of Toronto. His research focuses on diet quality and cardiometabolic health in Canadian population. Samer is a graduate of the American University of Beirut with M.Sc. and B.S in Nutrition and Dietetics and he holds a B.Eng. in Food Technology from University of Aleppo.
