SAE Electric Vehicle and Plug in Hybrid Electric Vehicle Conductive Charge Coupler
The revised SAE J1772 standard provides design and safety guidelines for charging controls and connectors, and serves as a consensus standard for both AC and DC charging stations. For the U.S. market, the new "Combo" systems must be evaluated to a combination of UL-2202 and UL-Subject-2594, while both AC and DC CCID circuits must be evaluated to UL-2231-1/-2.
