Comprised of highly experienced professionals, each member of this elite team holds Professional Engineering (P.E.) licensure and most all bring a minimum of 20 years of industry experience and advanced degrees in their respective fields.
This distinguished group provides critical engineering support for our most complex and challenging projects across various disciplines, including geotechnical, environmental, and construction materials engineering. They leverage their extensive knowledge to offer independent evaluations, make crucial decisions, and provide authoritative recommendations based on test results and field observations. The Chief Engineers play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing client relationships, developing new business opportunities, and serving as technical ambassadors for Intertek-PSI at important industry functions and conferences.

REDA BAKEER, PhD, PE
Chief Engineer, Dr. Reda Bakeer has over 40 years of geotechnical engineering experience. He excels in field and laboratory investigations, instrumentation, and foundation design. His diverse project portfolio encompasses transportation, ports, industrial facilities, and hurricane protection structures. Dr. Bakeer's contributions extend to numerous professional affiliations and publications.
JAMES M. BECCO, PE
As a seasoned professional with over 29 years in the field, James Becco manages Intertek-PSI's operations in Wisconsin as Chief Engineer. His oversight spans geotechnical, environmental, and construction services. James possesses extensive knowledge of subsurface conditions and regulatory frameworks, tackling diverse projects from petroleum assessments to complex geotechnical studies.
CHRISTOPHER L. CARSON, PE
Christopher Carson brings 25 years of expertise in geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing to Intertek-PSI. He provides crucial technical and quality oversight for offices in Indiana and Ohio. Christopher's experience includes large public design/build projects and a strong focus on quality control systems and laboratory oversight.

A fellow of the American Concrete Institute, William Ciggelakis serves as Chief Engineer with an impressive 45 plus year career in civil engineering. His specialties include concrete technology and quality assurance. William's project experience spans numerous transportation, airport, and building projects, backed by multiple professional certifications.
SHAILENDRA ENDLEY, PHD, PE
Leveraging over 40 years of geotechnical engineering experience, Dr. Shailendra Endley excels as a Chief Engineer. He has successfully managed hundreds of projects involving geotechnical investigation and construction materials testing. Shailendra's expertise extends to various foundation systems, with particular proficiency in Gulf Coast area projects and international ventures.
ANGELA C. GARZIA, PE
Angela Garzia brings 25 years of environmental assessment and remediation expertise to her role as Chief Engineer. Her project management portfolio includes Phase I and II ESAs, tank closure assessments, and remedial action plans. Angela's specialized knowledge covers both petroleum and non-petroleum contaminants, with significant experience in Brownfields sites.
BRITTON GENTRY, PE, GE
Chief Engineer Britton Gentry draws on 25 years of geotechnical engineering experience to tackle complex projects. His areas of expertise include deep excavations, landslide hazards, deep foundations, and geotechnical earthquake engineering. Britton's project history spans energy infrastructure, port facilities, industrial facilities, transportation infrastructure, and multi-story buildings.
BEN GOLESTANI, PhD, PE
Innovative and accomplished, Dr. Ben Golestani serves as a Chief Engineer, with over 18 years of experience. He specializes in pavement engineering and has developed groundbreaking specifications for Full Depth Reclamation. Ben's inventions include a nanocomposite modified asphalt, and he has received industry awards for his contributions to pavement engineering.

With a career spanning over 40 years in geotechnical engineering, Jose Gomez excels as a Chief Engineer. His expertise covers site preparation, earthwork, retaining structures, embankments, dams, ports, and foundation design. Jose's project experience extends across the Americas and Caribbean, complemented by multiple professional certifications and numerous technical publications.

John Gordon is one of Intertek-PSI's key geotechnical engineering leaders, drawing on over 35 years of experience. His diverse project portfolio includes landfills, hospitals, educational facilities, sports facilities, transportation infrastructure, high-rise structures, and industrial facilities.
JEREMY JERNIGAN, CIH, CSP, CHMM, FLAC, FLMA
Senior Scientist, Jeremy Jernigan brings 25 years of environmental health and safety experience to his role. He provides comprehensive industrial hygiene services nationwide, addressing a wide range of workplace hazards. Jeremy's client base includes various government agencies and private entities, with projects ranging from asbestos abatement to indoor air quality assessments.
SHAHED R. MANZUR, PhD, PE
Dr. Shahed Manzur applies his 13 years of Geotechnical Engineering experience to his role as Chief Engineer. His specialties include slope stability analysis, in-situ testing, and foundation design for diverse structures. Shahed's project experience spans high-rises, petrochemical facilities, and transportation projects, supported by his Ph.D. in civil engineering.

ALFONSO QUINONEZ, PE
With over 20 years in civil and geotechnical engineering, Alfonso Quinonez excels as Chief Engineer. Alfonso's experience encompasses numerous Texas Department of Transportation Design-Build projects and international geotechnical site investigations.

Hamid has successfully managed large-scale infrastructure projects with particular experience in design-build and P3 projects for government and private sectors.

ROBERT A. TROMPKE, PE
Robert Trompke leads PSI's Orlando geotechnical consulting and drilling divisions as Chief Engineer, drawing on over 25 years of experience. His diverse project experience includes commercial developments, transportation infrastructure, groundwater modeling, and deep foundation applications. Robert's geotechnical consulting work extends throughout Florida, the Bahamas, and the Caribbean basin.

Holding multiple state licenses, Robert Price excels as a Regional Engineer with 19 years of geotechnical engineering expertise. His proficiency spans shallow and deep foundations, embankments, earth retaining structures, ground improvement, and seismic design.
