The Turkish Chemicals Inventory and Control Legislation, also known as the Turkish Chemical Regulation, imposes obligations on importers and manufacturers to notify the Turkish Ministry of Environment and Forestry of existing and new chemical substances, either on their own or in preparations. The chemical data requirements depend on the tonnage per annum manufactured or imported into Turkey.

The rapidly approaching registration deadline is March 31, 2011. After this date, a submission must be made each year to Turkish authorities for all substances manufactured in or imported into Turkey in quantities greater than 1 tonne per annum.
