Electric Vehicle development expected to be a key focus of the conference, ahead of Intertek opening its new European Centre of Excellence for EV Propulsion Systems testing in 2020

The event brings together industry and academic experts with the powertrain development field and will see presentations on the latest industry development, innovations and challenges. Intertek Transportation Technologies in Milton Keynes, UK, has over 30 years’ experience in the automotive industry providing total quality solutions and is the largest independent automotive EV powertrain testing facility in the UK.
In 2020, Intertek will open a new additional laboratory in Milton Keynes, which will be a European Centre of Excellence for EV Propulsion Systems. With the rapid advances in electrification technologies in the automotive industry and the accelerated global adoption of Electric Vehicles, the UK EV powertrain test market demand is forecast to double by 2021.
