  • Topic: Canada's Chemicals Management Plan & Substance Assessments

  • This presentation will discuss the risk assessment under the revised Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999; Canada’s assessment of existing substances; Canada’s new substances program; and past successes and moving forward with the chemicals management plan

  • Topic: PFAS: Regulatory Update in Canada

  • Canada has been working diligently in defining and collecting information on perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). This presentation will talk about: how PFAS are defined in Canada; potential issues surrounding PFAS in Canada; and status of the regulations in Canada.
