Intertek presents at the ABHUG 2024 Conference and Workshops

Intertek Power Generation Technical Director, Tom Burnett, will hold the session HEP Dead Leg Concerns for CCGTS on Thursday, December 5^th. This discussion will focus on the high energy piping (HEP) designs for combined cycle plants where sections of piping form condensation at saturation temperatures. Provided during this presentation will be background information to allow the plant to determine if this problem exists, as well as possible mitigation recommendations to minimize or eliminate the condition. It will also provide additional instrumentation installation recommendations to properly monitor for any condensate management HEP issues.
