EPRI 7th Annual Generation Flexibility Conference

The energy landscape is rapidly changing. Power plants are facing a tougher test: providing more flexibility and efficiency while staying reliable, affordable, safe, and clean.  This is especially true as renewable energy sources become more prominent, making energy production more variable and competitive.

Nikhil Kumar, Managing Director, Intertek Asset Integrity Management, will present on the topic:  Can Flexible Power Plants Deliver a Sustainable Future? Balancing Flexibility, Economics, and Sustainability in Power Generation

Tuesday, July 23, 10:30AM ET

During his presentation, Mr. Kumar will discuss the following points:

  1. Increasing demand for electricity and the challenges of integrating renewable energy sources into the grid
  2. The need for flexible power plants to address these challenges and ensure grid stability
  3. Economic considerations of operating flexible power plants
  4. Ways in which flexible power plants can contribute to a sustainable future
  5. Energy markets' evolution to meet the demands of a decarbonizing grid

Mr. Kumar will also present: Optimizing Combined Cycle Fleet Management for Enhanced Flexibility: Capital Power's Data-Driven Approach
