Update on eCOSMA notification listing and Warehouse Licence Number for Cosmetics products

eCosma listing and Notification No.:

The eCosma Notification plan is now completed for Phase I of all Cosmetic Products.  As per SFDA recent instructions, the provisional eCosma notification number is no longer accepted for these Products and Exporters / Importers shall ensure that all their products are listed and approved in eCosma system to obtain a final notification number.

The CoC can no longer be issued without the final notification numbers available for all products within the shipment.

Warehouse Licence No.:

SFDA has also advised that the Warehouse Licence Number is fully enforced with immediate effect. The only exception to this case is when goods are imported directly to the retail store in KSA. If there is any other need for exemption, the importer shall directly approach SFDA to seek exemption.

Phase II – eCosma:
