Exporting Coffee to Saudi Arabia – SFDA’s Requirement on Mandatory Compliance to Technical Regulation SFDA.FD 783

As part of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority’s (SFDA) continuous effort to ensure the safety of imported food products and prevent misleading product labeling, SFDA has published the Technical Regulation SFDA.FD 783: 2020 for Instant Coffee.

Following its publication, SFDA has announced that effective January 1, 2022, all exporters and manufacturers of Instant Coffee shall comply with the Technical Regulation and take necessary corrective measures to ensure product compliance. Furthermore, any non-conformance will be subject to penalties as deemed appropriate and applicable.
