Intertek Confirmed as Certified Supplier to Eastman Kodak Company

Intertek (www.intertek.com), the leading provider of Quality, Regulatory and Safety services to a wide range of industries, announces its selection by Eastman Kodak Company for inclusion in the Kodak Certified Supplier Program. Kodak utilizes world-class processes and demands the same of its suppliers in terms of performance, reliability, cost, and delivery of services. Intertek’s certification by Kodak applies to Global Chemical Notifications and associated Regulatory Consulting services including support in relation to regulations and compliance laws in other countries. Examples of chemical notifications include China notification and United States TSCA notification.
The Kodak Certified Supplier program utilizes a number of elements to improve, measure, monitor, and recognize suppliers. The process to become a certified supplier includes a supplier quality assessment, measurement of supplier performance, and supplier certification. Intertek will benefit through systematic improvements, first consideration for new business and visible recognition by Kodak.
Intertek provides additional laboratory testing and other services for Kodak, and acquired an analytical laboratory from Kodak in Chalon, France in 2005.
