Intertek Launches its Training Academy for Sub-Saharan Africa

Specialized training courses will equip delegates with valuable skills across a range of industry sectors including Food Services, Occupational Health and Safety, Corporate Social Responsibility, Environmental Management and Quality Management
Johannesburg, South Africa - Intertek, a leading quality solutions provider to industries worldwide, announces the launch of its Training Academy Centre for Sub-Saharan Africa, further extending the scope of the Intertek Academy worldwide.
The courses offered in the Academy provide attendees with the latest management system requirements, legislation, implementation and auditing practices for a range of sectors. Attendees will directly benefit from the knowledge of experienced auditors and tutors who are technical experts in their fields. Each course combines interactive discussions and continuous evaluation with hands-on sessions to give attendees a complete and thorough understanding of the topic.
Intertek's offerings range from one day introductory courses to a five-day lead auditor course which is approved by the International Register of Certified Auditors (IRCA). Courses are available for many popular standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, ISO 22716 and more. Courses will roll out in May 2014 nationwide.
Tuition for the Intertek Academy training courses includes comprehensive course workbooks and handouts, guidance documents, and a certificate of attendance for each attendee. Advanced courses require successful completion of a course examination, continuous evaluation assessments, and in some cases a post course assignment. Successful completion of all requirements for advanced courses will result in a Certificate of Successful completion.
