Intertek Testing and Certification Ltd is a registered approved body for the outdoor noise regulations. Our team can help you to certify your products for the Noise Emission in the Environment by Equipment for use Outdoors Regulations 2001.  

Our current certification scope is: 

Item 8 - Compaction Machines (only vibrating and non, vibrating rollers, vibratory plates and vibratory rammers)

Assessment methods

Our team can certify the above items according to Schedule 9 and Schedule 10, detailed in the regulation:

• Schedule 9 – Internal control of production with assessment of technical documentation and periodical checking. Testing of at least three samples to determine the guaranteed sound power level. To maintain certification an annual reassessment by Intertek is required.
• Schedule 10 – Unit verification. Testing of one unit and certification of the that specific unit.

Testing Labs 

We have accredited Intertek testing laboratories in the UK, Germany and China that can carry out the test requirements for these products. We can also accept testing carried out by customers for certification, subject to agreement and satisfactory periodic audit of testing facility.
