Knitted T-Shirts

The Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Quality and Technical supervision launched a special product quality supervision and inspection for knitted T-shirts. The spot check inspected 40 batches of samples; no batches were found unqualified.

This spot check was conducted according to GB 18401-2010 “National general safety technical code for textile products,” GB/T 29862-2013 “Textiles –Identification of fiber content” and related standards. The key items inspected on these samples were fiber content, formaldehyde, pH value, AZO, colorfastness to dry rubbing, colorfastness to perspiration, colorfastness to water, colorfastness to washing and colorfastness to light and specification.

 

Swimwear

The Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Quality and Technical supervision launched a special product quality supervision and inspection for swimwear. The spot check inspected 30 batches of samples; 4 batches were found unqualified.

This spot check was conducted according to GB 5296.4-2012 “Instructions for use of products of consumer interest – Part 4: Textiles and apparel,” GB 18401-2010 “National general safety technical code for textile products,” GB/T 29862-2013 “Textiles –Identification of fiber content,” FZ/T 73013-2010 “Knitted Swimming Suits,” and related standards. The key items inspected on these samples were fiber content, formaldehyde, pH value, colorfastness to dry rubbing, colorfastness to perspiration, colorfastness to water, AZO, colorfastness to sea water, colorfastness to chlorinated water, colorfastness to light, stretch & recovery property and stretch & recovery property to chlorinated pool.

Primary failed items: fiber content and colorfastness to chlorinated water.

 

Leather Sandals

The Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Quality and Technical supervision launched a special product quality supervision and inspection for leather sandals. The spot check inspected 60 batches of samples; 8 batches were found unqualified.

This spot check was conducted according to GB 28011-2011 “Shanks for footwear,” GB/T 22756-2008 “Leather Sandals,” QB/T 1002-2005 “Leather shoes,” QB/T 2955-2008 “Casual Shoes” and related standards. The key items inspected on these samples were appearance, peeling strength, flexing resistance, abrasion resistance, heel hardness, attachment strength of heel, upper pull out strength, colorfastness to rubbing of lining and shanks.

Primary failed items: flexing resistance, attachment strength of heel, colorfastness to rubbing of lining and shanks.

 

Garments

The Anhui Administration for Industry & Commerce launched a special product quality supervision and inspection for garments.

The Tianjin Consumers’ Association launched a special product quality supervision and inspection for T-shirts. The spot check inspected 22 batches of samples; 9 batches were found unqualified.

This spot check was conducted according to GB 5296.4-2012 “Instructions for use of products of consumer interest – Part 4: Textiles and apparel,” GB 18401-2010 “National general safety technical code for textile products,” GB/T 29862-2013 “Textiles –Identification of fiber content,” GB/T 22849-2014 “Knitted T-shirt,” FZ/T 43015-2011 “Silk Knitting Garments,” FZ/T 73043-2012 “Knitted shirts” and GB/T 21655.1-2009 “Textiles – Evaluation of absorption and quick-drying.” The key items inspected on these samples were label, colorfastness, fiber content, formaldehyde, pH value, AZO, pilling and bursting strength.

Primary failed items: colorfastness, fiber content, colorfastness to rubbing and label.

 

Menswear

The Zhengzhou Administration for Industry & Commerce launched a special product quality supervision and inspection for menswear. The spot check inspected 20 batches of samples; 6 batches were found unqualified.

The key items inspected on these samples were fiber content, colorfastness to water, colorfastness to perspiration, colorfastness to dry rubbing, colorfastness to washing, colorfastness to light, pH value, AZO and label.

Primary failed items: label, fiber content and colorfastness to perspiration.

 

Knitted Garments, Suits, Neckties and Children’s Garments

The Zhejiang Bureau of Quality and Technical supervision launched a special product quality supervision and inspection for knitted garments, suits, neckties and children’s garments.

The Liaoning Bureau of Quality and Technical supervision launched a special product quality supervision and inspection for swimwear. The spot check inspected 31 batches of samples; 5 batches were found unqualified.

This spot check was conducted according to GB 18401-2010 “National general safety technical code for textile products,” FZ/T 73013-2010 “Knitted Swimming Suits” and related standards. The key items inspected on these samples were formaldehyde, pH value, AZO, colorfastness to water, colorfastness to perspiration, colorfastness to dry rubbing, colorfastness to light and perspiration, colorfastness to sea water, colorfastness to chlorinated water, stretch & recovery property to chlorinated pool and fiber content.

Primary failed items: pH value, fiber content, colorfastness to sea water and colorfastness to chlorinated water.
