Hong Kong – Toys and Children’s Products Safety Ordinance (Cap. 424) Updated

The Commerce and Economic Development Bureau (CEDB) of Hong Kong has updated the versions of some of the safety standards for toys and children’s products listed in Toys and Children’s Products Safety Ordinance (Cap. 424). It will be effective from 1 October 2019.
The following table shows those standards that have been updated for toys, listed in Schedule 1 of the Ordinance:

BS EN 71-14:2014 + A1:2017 | Safety of toys – Part 14: Trampolines for domestic use |

If the importer or distributor intends to use these standards to demonstrate compliance with the Hong Kong Ordinance, then the products must comply with these latest updated versions of the standards if they are placed on the market after 1 October 2019.
