United Arab Emirates – Child Care Articles Control Scheme Published

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has published the Cabinet Decision No. 34 of 2019 on UAE Control Scheme for Child Care Articles. This Decision applies to the products listed in the table below. This Decision is already effective.
For products to be placed on the UAE market, the importer or distributor must apply to the Emirates Conformity Assessment System (ECAS) for a Conformity Assessment and obtain a Certificate of Conformity.

In addition, pictures and expressions used on the package shall not breach the public order, public morals and Islamic values prevailing in the UAE.
