China Market Update: Updated Textile, Footwear Products & Hardgoods Standard List 2024

China Releases Updates to Textile and Footwear Standards
In the second half of 2024, the standardization administration of the People’s Republic of China released announcement No.17, No.18, No.22, No.24, No.29 and No.32 and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China released announcement No.18, No.28 and No.39 to publish standards updates.
There are updated textile, footwear, hardgoods products standards and method standards, including GB/T 3920-2024 “Textiles—Tests for colour fastness—Colour fastness to rubbing”, GB/T 31900—2024 “Woven children's clothing”, FZ/T 80002—2024 “Marking, packaging, transportation and storage for garments”, GB/T 3903.6—2024 “Footwear—Test methods for whole shoe—Slip resistance performance”, QB/T 2880—2024 “Children's leather shoes”, GB 17927—2024 “Safety technical specification of flame resistance for furniture”, etc., as well as new standards for textile, footwear such as GB/T 45041—2024 “Wool and wool-like knitting goods for infants”, GB/T 45174—2024 “Footwear—Test method of density for microcellular soles”, etc.
