PETman champions recycling and charitable giving

Our Netherlands offices have welcomed a new team member: the PETman. Designed to add a bit of fun to the daily routine of disposing of empty plastic bottles and cans, the PETman is a recycling bin in the guise of a giant yellow Intertek-branded PET bottle.

PETman also helps raise money for good causes. Each PETman can hold around 250 bottles and cans, and when full we can expect a return of around €40, which Intertek doubles and donates to charities chosen by our colleagues. We therefore encourage employees to bring their bottles or cans from home to ensure that every PETman reaches capacity as often as possible.
