Karl Harland is Intertek’s Business Assurance Technical Director and is responsible for Intertek’s Global UKAS accreditation across multiple management system and product certification Standards. As such, he was instrumental in Intertek becoming the first certification body to achieve UKAS accreditation for the full scope of ISO 37001. Taking leadership of Intertek’s UK management systems and CSR auditor teams, he is well versed in the risks that organisations are facing today and can offer pragmatic, commercially focused approaches to addressing requirements.
