Integrity Assessment of Pipelines – how to handle poor data
Pipeline integrity assessment is an area of increasing importance across industries. Generally this is based on available inspection data and international guidelines as per ASME B31G & DNVGL RP F101.
A key aspect is determining estimated remaining life which is dependent on knowing expected ongoing degradation rates. Whilst this can be assessed by comparison with previous inspection data, in many cases direct defect-to-defect comparison is not possible and other approaches are required to allow a credible assessment to be completed.
The webinar will cover the overall approach adopted by Intertek P&IA for integrity assessment and methods for developing estimated remaining life.
