Course Description

The ISO 26262 Functional Safety Module 3 course, "Hardware Development, FMEDA, Integration, Verification, and Testing," is a full-day training program that addresses key requirements from Parts 5, 8, 9, and partially Part 11 of the ISO 26262 standard. The course focuses on safety-relevant hardware requirements and includes an explanation of the FMEDA hardware fault tolerance metric.

Participants will gain an understanding of the individual process steps and activities essential for hardware development. This module is designed for those responsible for hardware and software development projects, as well as all ISO 26262 users.

By the end of the course, participants will understand the critical relationships between system development, hardware development, and software requirements from the perspective of suppliers responsible for hardware development and production. Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
